Who are we?
Villa Mariva is a family business. Our family of 4 is living in The Netherlands and we speak both Dutch and Croatian language natively. We speak English as well and will be able to have basic conversation with you in German too.
We welcome our guest during the summer months, from April till October. If you visit Villa Mariva in this period, in most cases we will welcome you personally and give you an introduction to Villa Mariva and give you hints about places to see etc.

How to reach us
Coming to Croatia by car, airplane or ferry? Find your way to Villa Mariva
You can reach Opatija by airplane from Zagreb Airport (140km), Ljubljana Airport (115 km) , Pula Airport (109 km), Rijeka (on the island of Krk) Airport (40 km) or from Trieste Airport in Italy (80 km).
We recommend you to rent a car in case you are coming by plane.
If you are coming by car, from Austria, Slovenia, or Italy, you drive in a direction of Rijeka. Once close by Rijeka, you need to follow signs Opatija/Matulji in direction of Ucka/Rukavac.
